The main wedding season is not yet into full swing but this time of year wedding suppliers are busy connecting with potential clients at wedding showcases. Sometimes these have slightly different names depending on the vision of the establishment holding the event. At one end of the scale you have vast sports and events grounds given over to as many wedding suppliers as the marketing team has been able to sell spaces to - possibly more akin to a supermarket experience. And, at the other end of the scale, you have exclusive venues operating a strictly RSVP service and with only a few suppliers in attendance to offer advice to a handful of prospective clients.

They are an ideal place for couples to gain inspiration and assist in the planning process.
From a suppliers point of view, they provide a valuable insight into how people are planning their events. You hear what people value and where their interests lie. Whilst exhibiting at wedding fairs can be, in some ways, far more tiring than carrying out one's role on a wedding day; it is lovely to be reminded of the excitement of planning a wedding. At the very heart of each wedding are two people who have decided to spend their lives together and, that to my mind, is a rather wonderful thing!
